WorkBuddy documents custom model connections. This guide maps those settings to AI526; client end-to-end compatibility has not been tested.
Configure a connection
Open Settings → Models → Add model → Custom.

Leave Custom protocol off: WorkBuddy appends /chat/completions. If enabled, enter the full URL https://api.ai526.com/v1/chat/completions instead.
Choose a chat model with tool support, not an image or video generation model. Save and select it for a task. Check image input support in the AI526 catalog.
Verify
Send a short text task and review its AI526 request record. For 401, check the key; for 404, check the URL and model ID. Validate tools and images separately.
